Did some sightseeing in Singapore today and walked a bit of the F 1 track. You can still see the racing line and clag on the track almost a year later.

is the track used only once a year? I would imagine that most of that would be from the most recent outing on the tarmac....

Parts are public road. That part isn't.

most of the track is city streets, but the last turn complex, front stretch and first turn complex are bespoke for the race. Apparently, they do runs and some light non racing events there, but no other motorsports. That's F-1 rubber there.
